Tried Something New

I received some Fast2Fuse blank artist trading cards from a friend and I used one yesterday. This is the end result. I've never tried this before and I like how it turned out. I'll make more because the process was really fun.

Today, I crafted live on tinychat.com for two hours.

I made six crocheted flower frig magnets for a housewarming gift for a friend.

I made a fusible web fabric applique greeting card.

I used my homemade light box and traced an envelope template and made a coordinating envelope for the card.

I filmed my weekly craft vlog for Talk to Me Tuesday, which is aired on YouTube on my channel "beshneela."

And I gardened and cleaned.

Blog #1 - Wee Hours of the Morning

Hello Hello

Thank you for visiting my blog. I am a 46 year old married mother of six children ages 8 to 18. I live in a very small town in a very rural area. I create stuff. I create with yarn and knitting needles and crochet hooks, paint and brushes, fabric and needle and thread, and DNA (thus six kids).

I plan to post what's happening in my life and in my creativity on a regular basis.

Right now it's 4:52 in the morning and I'm going back to bed. I got up to run some laundry and have some quiet computer time. Now I'm sleepy again.

I'll be up in 90 minutes to get the kids up for school so a good sleep now will help me get a lot done tomorrow - cleaning and sewing.
